Tuition Fees for 2008-2009 -$75 registration fee per child, $100 after June 1, 2008 -Tuition is $450 per year. There are two options for paying: 1. Pay all up front - registration due with form and tuition due on or before the first day of school. $450 + $75/$100 = $525/$550 With this option there is a $25 discount, for a total of $500/$525 2. Pay monthly $75/$100 registration fee due with registration form $450 / 6 = $75 per month, due on the first Tuesday of Sept, Oct., Nov., Jan., Feb., and March. Registration fee is non-refundable. *Multi-child discounts: 1st child-$75 per month - $450 per year 2nd child-$70 per month - $420 per year 3rd child-$65 per month - $390 per year 4th child-$60 per month - $ 360 per year There is no additional discount for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th children. There is no multi-child discount on elective classes. Some elective classes require a materials fee or have a materials list. Please check the elective page for descriptions and possible fees associated with these classes. A $10.00 late fee will be applied to payments received after the first Tuesday of each month. We ask that parents view their child/ren's enrollment as a full 6 month commitment according to one of our payment plans. Excelsior! Academy bases its budget on the number of students enrolled in the program. We do not operate on a large budget and wish to be responsible in our planning. Even one or two withdrawals can adversely affect our finances and scheduling of classes. Exceptions to this policy include the following: *Death of a parent *Moving more that 30 miles from the school *Parent becoming unemployed No exceptions are given for the following reasons: *Child re-enrolled in school *Child is tired of the program *Child has too many other activities. Please prayerfully consider this commitment before applying. You will be held responsible for the full six months of payments once the program begins. No transfers of payments to other students or families are allowed. Because our end-of-the-year program and plays are produced with the utmost care and attention to detail, we do sell tickets to help offset the cost. Tickets are not usually required for the Christmas program. Elective Tuition Fees  1 hour classes:  $30 per month 1 1/2 hour classes:  $40 per month Lunch For those students taking both Academy and afternoon elective classes and wishing to eat the lunch they bring at the school, there is an additional fee of $5 per month. This is to cover lunch room supervision and clean-up. To help offset the cost of tuition, Excelsior! Academy provides a limited number of assistant positions to parents. These positions are paid positions and require the parent to help out in a classroom every week. If you are interested in one of these positions please check the space on the registration form. Teacher Assistants Teacher assistant positions are available. Duties and requirements vary. Pay covers the first child's tuition. If interested, please check the appropriate space on the registration form and you will be contacted. A registration form and fee must be turned in for your request to be considered.
